SaaS pricing is notoriously difficult to perfect. Like many other teams, we have learned a few things during the process of creating and iterating on Touchstone as the FHIR Implementation community has matured and grown.
New Value Metrics
Our previous pricing had access to features as being the primary value metric defining subscription levels. This made sense for organizations managing large programs, but we found that it created a barrier to wider adoption by the broader implementation community.
Our new pricing fixes that. As shown below, nearly all Touchstone features are available at all paid1 subscription levels.

The few features restricted to the higher plans are not even on the radar for all but the largest organizations who are managing industry or country-wide conformance validation programs. *Optional features are discussed and customized to an organization’s needs.
